Notes - Alice L. Krahn, age 96, passed away late Sunday evening, March 6, 2005, at Shady Acres in Seymour. She was born July 26, 1908, in the Town of Seymour, the daughter of the late Henry and Amy (Armitage) Green. She was united in marriage to Herbert Krahn on June 11, 1936, in Seymour. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1994. They farmed together most of their married lives, moving into the city of Seymour in 1975, when they retired. Alice enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and embroidery. She had a zest for life and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Clarence (Juelaine) Krahn, Seymour; three grandchildren: Kevan, Rhonda and Renae; one great-grandson, Christopher; also, two sisters; Muriel Kujawa, Seymour; and Helen Rihm, Neenah.
She was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, from 9 a.m. until the time of services. The funeral service will be a the funeral home at 11 a.m., with Paster Sara Yotter officiating. The burial will be at the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour.
