- Dorothy M. Wittmann, age 77, of Menasha, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, with her loving family at her side, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. On July 13, 1934, Dorothy was born the daughter of the late Reinhold and Ruth (Williams) Schabo. She graduated from Neenah High School and was active in cheerleading. Dorothy was united in marriage to Andrew G. Wittmann on June 11, 1955, in Neenah; he preceded her in death on September 12, 2009. Dorothy loved going to sporting events. She took great pride in watching her grandchildren participate in a variety of sports. She also collected antiques and enjoyed watching home remodeling shows.
Dorothy was a woman that was positive, generous, yet humble. She was hard working and gracious. One would say she was compassionate to all her loved ones and those she came in contact with. She loved her family above anything else and was very proud of her children and grandchildren.
Dorothy will be missed by her loving sons: Terry (Tammy), Todd (Kathy), Ted (Sharon), and Troy (Dawn); her grandchildren: Brandon, Alisha, Taylor, Tierney, Teagan, Riley, and Parker; her loving sister, Donna Schultz and her family; her cousin Carita Williams and her family; special friends: Roger and Carolyn Berken and Bill and Vicki LaBar.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 9, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Church Street, Neenah, with Rev. Richard Moore officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the hour of the service at the church. Interment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Town of Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
