    • Terry Besaw, age 75 of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly late Wednesday evening, January 11, 2017 in Shawano.

      Terry was born March 5, 1941 in Shawano, a son of the late Edward C. and Veda (Lahn) Besaw. He attended school in Appleton. Following school he worked in the auto industry as a mechanic, car salesman, and business owner. On April 1, 1968 he was united in marriage to the former Sandra Jean Ganzel. The couple lived in the Fox Valley and Shawano areas throughout their marriage. Terry was an avid stock car fan; he built, raced, and fixed them.

      Survivors include his daughters, Deb (Al) Johnson of Almond, WI, and Kim (Jim) Meyer of Menasha; and numerous relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, he was preceeded in death by his parents and siblings.

      A Celebration of Life ceremony for Terry Lee Besaw will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017. The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Mickelson Funeral Service in Shawano. Private family interment will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers and plants, a memorial is being established in Terry's memory.
