Notes - Mrs. Lavina Burt, 86, 402 Allard St., West De Pere, former Town of Lawrence resident, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Dashner, with whom she resided for the past six years. Born Nov. 11, 1876, in Kaukauna to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton, she married Harry Burt on April 15, 1896 in Kaukauna. The couple settled later on a farm in the Town of Lawrence where Mrs. Burt resided until she came to De Pere. Her husband died in April 1940, and a son, Hugh, in 1954.
Survivors include one son, Melvin, Kimberly; three daughters, Mrs. Dashner; Mrs. Robert French, West De Pere, Rt. 1; Mrs. Gladys Vande Voort, Wrightstown; one stepson, Roy Burt, Neenah; 12 grandchildren, two step grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Elsie Sterns, Kansas City, MO.
Freinds may call at Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, from 7 tonight until 11 a. m. Wednesday, and then at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wrightstown. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Henry Pussehl in charge. Bural will be in South Lawrence Cemetery.
