He then went on to work as an insurance salesman for Prudential and Home Mutual Insurance Company. He received many awards for his outstanding salesmanship during his career. Fran was a huge Packer fan, holding season tickets for over 60 years dating back to the old City Stadium. He liked to travel with his wife Mary. He also loved to play the slot machines at Oneida Casino, and he enjoyed his trips duck hunting. Fran is survived by his daughter Debra (David) Patterson, Wauwatosa; 2 sons: Thomas (Kitty) Liethen, Boise, ID, and Jeffry (Trisha) Liethen, Oshkosh; his sister Irene “Sis” Remick, Neenah.
