      Horn, Marie

Marie Horn, 96, Appleton, passed away on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 17, 1913, on a farm in Winnebago County, west of Neenah and Menasha, daughter of the late, John and Mary (Osterman) Brockman. Marie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and appreciated the concern shown her by its clergy and congregation. She enjoyed going to auctions and dealing in antiques with her friend Marion Noem. Marie is survived by her son; Ron and several nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey, three brothers: Erwin, John and Harry Brockman and her sister: Anna Brockman.

A funeral service for Marie will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Highland Memorial Park Chapel, with the Rev. Ralph Waack officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the Chapel on Wednesday.

Marie's son Ron especially wishes to thank the personnel at Midway Road ThedaCare for the care and advice provided for several years, and with appreciation to the staffs at AMC and Theda Clark for the care she received at their facilities.
