Connie K. Krull, 77, went to her heavenly home on March 21, 2025. She was surrounded by her family and devoted husband, John, on her peaceful journey home to the Lord our Savior. She was born on January 5, 1948, in Clintonville, WI, to Shirley and Lloyd Diemel.

Words can never express the immense love and joy Connie brought to her huge family and cherished friends! Connie was happily and faithfully married to John of Appleton, WI, for nearly 60 years this May 2025. John and Connie started dating when they were sixteen years old and shared a lifetime of incredible memories, stories, and laughter together. Their love and devotion to God were the pillars of their relationship, and these qualities were shown through their deep love for one another and their family. They were not only husband and wife but lifetime lovers and best friends.

Connie was well known for being strong beyond belief and an extremely hard worker who dedicated her life's work to O.J. Krull & Sons Inc. She was beautiful and bright, inside and out, with a spectacular smile and infectious laugh. She brightened every room she walked into.

Connie's many hobbies, diverse capabilities, and the quest for adventure meant she was always up to something. She loved driving motorcycles, playing cards, hunting, cooking, baking, driving in snowstorms, bowling, mowing the lawn, boating, camping, campfires, celebrations with family, and deep belly laughs. And through it all, she always managed to keep her nails perfectly manicured.

Connie was especially loved for her big heart, which was driven by family before self. She made everyone around her feel special, seen, and deeply loved. She always had your back, no matter what. To be loved by Connie was to feel the warm sun shine upon you—the love of an angel.

Connie leaves behind a golden legacy, survived by a long line of grateful family members: husband John; children Jay (Linda) Krull, Jeff (Brenda) Krull, and Jessica (Jay) Stein.

Grandchildren: Justine (Paul) Leeman; Jenessa (Andrew) Schwoerer; Johanna (Tyler) Weber; Jase (Mikayla) Krull; Samantha (Joe) O'Hearn; Judge (Lexy) Krull; Aaliyah (fiancé Devin), Ashton Krull, and Avanti Wuest.

Great-grandchildren: Abraham, Genevieve, Theodore, and Cecelia Leeman; Henry, Louis, and Margaret Schwoerer; Oliver and Lincoln Weber; Eloise Krull; Hayden and Lucas O'Hearn; Rylee Krull.

Siblings: Glen (Linda) Niemuth, Vicki (Bob) Kumbier, and Kim Niemuth; sister-in-laws Judy (George) Massey, Jeannine Krull, and Bonnie Diemel; and brother-in-law John Gillespie.

In addition, she is survived by her Aunt Pat (Ray) Miess and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and long-time bowling team who she loved dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Glen Niemuth; father, Lloyd Diemel; father and mother-in-law, Oliver and Ruth Krull; daughter, Jana Krull; granddaughter, Armani; brothers, Terry and Ron Diemel; sister-in-laws Jan Gillespie and Connie Diemel; and brother-in-law Jim Krull.

Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Open Visitation for Connie will be held on March 29, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton, WI 54911.
