- Beulah, age 95, of Appleton, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010. She was born June 20, 1915, in Appleton, daughter of the late Charles Carson and Amanda (Knuppel) Green. She married Thomas J. Flanagan, September 5, 1936, in Appleton. He preceded her in death January 29, 1987, having shared 50 years together. Beulah was employed by H. C. Prange Co. for 28 years and retired in 1988. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Christian Ladies of St. Therese, National Catholic Society of Foresters and was a volunteer for St. Joseph Food Pantry for 15 years.
She is survived by three daughters: Maureen (Connor) Van Doren, Menasha; Mary Ellen (Charles) Hurst, Wooster, OH; Kathleen (Keenan Behrle) Flanagan, Los Angeles, CA; three sons: Thomas (Barbara) Flanagan, Appleton; Michael Flanagan, Bakersfield, CA; Patrick (Brad Cantrell) Flanagan, Madison; a sister: Joan Radtke, Appleton; two sisters-in-law: Pat Green, Appleton and Catherine Flanagan, Dublin, GA; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles O. Green and Peter C. Green.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2010, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Ave., with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday, December 27, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
