    Shirley (Neubert) Vandenberg, age 82 of Green Bay, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Born on October 24, 1942 in Appleton to the late Mills and Virginia (Kern) Neubert. On March 7, 1960 she married Kenneth Vandenberg and together they had 6 children. Kenny preceded her in death on March 23, 1999.

    Shirley enjoyed cooking, baking for events, gardening, arranging flowers, crafts and cleaning, she always stayed busy. She enjoyed watching Wrestling, old Westerns while all the fur babies begged for her attention.

    Shirley is survived by her children; sons, Brian Vandenberg Sr., Jeff (Doris)Vandenberg Sr. and daughters; Brenda Sanders, Patty Orlando, Linda (Allan) Surprise.

    Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

    She is further survived by her sister; Susie (Gordy Thivierge) Behm and uncle, Jack Hanson; and her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Preceding her in death are her parents, Mills and Virginia Neubert; Kenny and baby James; brothers, Mike and Jim Neubert.
