      Darboy

      Age 63, died unexpectedly on November 26, 2014 at Fox River Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with his family by his side. He was born on April 28, 1951 in Oshkosh, son of the late William and Stella (Dlugolenski) Cholewinski. On June 1, 1996 Dan was united in marriage to Diana Holmes (Malinski). The couple lived in Darboy their entire married life. Dan and Diana enjoyed traveling. Dan loved tennis; He coached baseball and basketball at Oshkosh West High School. He also enjoyed reading, politics, and landscaping; his lawn was his pride and joy. Dan was a graduate of UW-Oshkosh. He taught social studies at Crivitz High School as well as Oshkosh West High School. He was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Parish where he served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, and catechist.

      He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Diana; a step-daughter, Tasha (Dan) Stindt, Green Bay; grandchildren: Tiana and Ty Stindt; two sisters: Susan (Patrick) Costello, Green Bay and Sr. Elise Cholewinski, OSF, Appleton. He is further survived by special nieces and nephews.

      The Mass of Christian Burial for Daniel will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH @ HOLY NAME CHURCH, 620 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly with Fr. Bob Kollath celebrating. Friends will be received at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive in Kaukauna on Monday from 4-7 PM where a parish prayer service will conclude the evening and again on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass.
