    • Doreen (Bangart) Hull, age 66 of Little Chute, passed away at her home on Friday evening, April 22, 2016. Doreen was born in Appleton on February 2, 1950, daughter of the late Joseph and LaVerne (Schmidt) Bangart. She attended elementary school at Holy Angels in Darboy and high school in Kimberly and Kaukauna. Following her graduation, she also attended two years of college in Wyoming. As a young woman, Doreen worked at Brillion Iron Works. For many years, she enjoyed her job at Sam's Club as a product demonstrator for sixteen years. More recently, she worked at Piece By Piece quilt shop in Appleton. Doreen was a member of a Wednesday sewing group as well as Darting Needles Quilt Guild in Appleton. Doreen was an expert baker and cook and treasured time spent with her daughters and grandchildren. She will be fondly remember as an "avid chatter" who loved to fill visitors in on her embroidery and quilting projects. She was so generous with her handiwork; many have received her handmade treasures as gifts. She was a stranger to no one, and had an endless list of loved ones and friends.

Doreen is survived by a loving family that includes her husband: Albert Hull of Little Chute; three daughters: Dawn (Fr. Michael) Caldwell of Nacogdoches, Texas; Lauri Wood-Heise of Wild Rose; and Catherine (Steven) Kellick of Casper, Wyoming. Her grandchildren are: Grayson, Codi, Seth, Austin, Ashli, Steven Charles, and Emma; and her great-grandchildren are Nathan, Tyson, and Avery. Doreen is also survived by three brothers: Chris Bangart of Hortonville and his sons Joe and Mike; Joseph Bangart of Sherwood and his children Randalyn and Reed; and Anthony (Sandy) Bangart of Appleton and their sons Larry and Erik; a sister-in-law: Beverly Bangart of Kaukauna and her children Amy and Missy; and two former sisters-in-law: Pat Bangart and Barb Bangart and her children Scott, Brian, and Josh. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Allen, Ronald, and Ray; a sister-in-law: Nora Bangart, and a niece: Michelle Bangart.

The funeral liturgy for Doreen will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 Pine Street in Little Chute, with Fr. Ronald Belitz officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Thursday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the hour of the service.
