Heuring, Joseph P.
Joseph Heuring, of Appleton, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 14, 2008. He was born on October 8, 1960, in Stevens Point, the son of the late Joseph G. and Joanne (Krabbe) Heuring. Joe graduated from Pacelli High School in Stevens Point in 1979 and then received his bachelor degree in Economics from UW - Madison. He was employed at Chase Bank. Joe loved his family above all else. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing basketball with his friends. Joe valued his friendships, especially his friends at work and from college.
He is the loving father of Ted and Abby Heuring. Joe is survived by the children's mother: Elly Heuring; his stepmother: Audrey Heuring; sisters: Jeanne Peskie and Julie Zinda; brother: Jim Heuring; stepsisters: Paula Webb and Pam Lewis; stepbrother: Jim Feltz; brothers-in-law: Mike Peskie and Darryl Zinda; sister-in-law: Kim Heuring; nieces and nephews: Brody and Johanna Peskie; Colin and Caitlin Zinda; Jamie and Taylor Heuring. He is further survived by many other loving friends and relatives.
The memorial service for Joe will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 209 S. Allen Street, Appleton, with Rev. Kurt Kovanen officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Ted and Abby Heuring.
