Hilary M. Feldkamp
Wrightstown
Age 82, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 10, 1997. The son of the late George and Frances [Verbeten] Feldkamp was born on June 5, 1915 on the family farm in Outagamie County. He was a lifelong Wrightstown area resident. On June 13, 1940 Hilary was united in marriage to Ethel M. Hendricks at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute, and the couple celebrated 57 years of marriage last June. Hilary was the 3rd generation on the family farm where he had helped to build all of the buildings. His geatest joy was being threshing boss for about 60 years. Hilary plowed snow for the Township of Buchanan for more than 20 years. He had also hauled milk for various cheese plants for about 25 years. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown, where he served as an usher, a trustee, and a member of the School Building Committee, a member of Golden Agers and the Knights of Columbus Council #1033 in Kaukauna. He enjoyed playings cards and baseball games.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel; and their children; Father Angelo Feldkamp O'Praem, De Pere; Larry Feldkamp; Wrightstown; Karla [Vern] Gebhart, Hilbert; David [Pat] Feldkamp, Kaukauna; three grandchildren; Jason, Aaron and Nathan; a brother and three sisters in-law; Leo and Lucille Feldkamp; Gen Feldkamp; and Vera Feldkamp, all of Kaukauna; sisters in-law and brothers in-law, Ceil and Len Vande Hey, Little Chute; Dorothy Kerkhoff, Freedom; Mag and Mel Aerts, Little Chute; Marion and Bob Nelessen, Kaukauna; Lillian and Leo Gerrits, Hollandtown;
numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe, Norbert, Anthony, Bernard and Richard; his sisters and brothers in-law, Leona Feldkamp, Suzanne Arnoldussen, and her husband, Mike; three brothers in-law and sister in-law; Agnes and Clarence Schreiber, Peter Van Zeeland, and Mark Kerkhoff.
Friends may call at the De Wane-Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown From 4-8 p.m. Friday, September 12, 1997 and after 9 a.m. Saturday until the cortege leaves for the church. Knights of Columbus Memorial Service will be at 6:30 this evening and the parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown with his son, Father Angelo Feldkamp O'Praem and fellow clergy officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
