    • Harold Charles Schweitzer, age 83 was born May 19, 1931, to Charles and Mable (Raider) Schweitzer at Stoney Hill Shawano. Dad passed away on September 16, 2014, at his home with his family at his side.

On October 24th 1951, he was united in marriage to Rita A. (Balthazor) Schweitzer. They spent 50 years together until her death in 2001. They farmed in Maple Creek and Dear Creek in Outagamie county most of there life. Charles hauled milk in early years, was an ABS Tec, worked as a carpenter, and worked at Hillshire Farm for about 12 years. They enjoyed traveling; they especially loved to visit Cody, Wyoming. Charles also loved fishing and hunting with his boys. Even though he had heart trouble in his thirties and through out his whole life, he never gave up. He could repair anything no matter what the task. He gave his all, to his life and his family (look forward not backwards just keep on going), always remember where you come from with respect. He faced life head on, he always said he had a great life and he loved every minute of it.

He is survived by his children Charles, Kathleen and Jerry Free, Ken, Jim and Patty, Marybeth and Diane Zimmerman, also three sisters: Jeanette and Jim Oashger, Ruth Peterson, Ellen and Harlow Reinert, sister in-laws: Sandy Schweitzer, Betty Balthazor Carol Rebman, Donna and Jerold Jenkins, and Donna Balthazor; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mable, his wife Rita, two sons Leon and an infant son, one sister Lucille and Alfred Strauss, one brother Frank, also his in-laws: Helerain Balthazor, Marcella and John Guyette, Elaine and Walter Wright, Norman Balthazor, Thomas Rebman, Dennis and Jeanne Balthazor, Samuel Balthazor.
