  March 25, 2008 Bethany R. Christopherson Bethany Rae Christopherson, 29, Stevens Point, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008, in Stevens Point. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at the Shuda/Plover Family Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Olson will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her name for the Portage County Humane Society. Bethany was born Feb. 2, 1979, in Stevens Point, the daughter of Edward and Marilyn (Miller) Christopherson. She attended local schools and graduated form SPASH in 1997. Bethany worked at both Sentry Insurance and Travel Guard after graduation. For the past number of years, she had worked in the family owned business, the McDonalds in Mosinee, where she has been a manager. Bethany is survived by her parents; her brother, Brett (Kris) Christopherson, Little Chute; two nephews, Ryan and Connor; her paternal grandparents, Ruth and Oliver Christopherson, Valders; and her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Miller, Stillwater, Minn. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Merlin Miller.
