      Roland J. Sonnleitner, 620 East Maple St., age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his residence at 2 p.m. Saturday. He was born on June 26, 1914 in Appleton, where he was employed by Bartelt Asbestos and Cork, Inc., and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he had been a member of the Usher Society for 25 years. Mr. Sonnleitner was a Past President of the South Side Athletic Club and was a World War II Army veteran.

      The survivors include his wife, Mildred Schink Sonnleitner; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Nanus) Fuerst Jr. and Mrs. Paul (Carla) Santkuyl; a son, Dennis, and his mother, Mrs. Agnes Sonnleitner, all of Appleton; six brothers, Carl, Frank, Adolph, Joseph, and Ed, all of Appleton, and Lawrence of Kimberly; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Maahs, and Mrs. Levi (Mary) Du Frane, both of Appleton; and one grandson, Joel Dennis Sonnleitner.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment taking place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday until the cortege leaves for the church. The prayer and scripture service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
