Mooren, Josephine Josephine Mooren, 92, De Pere, passed away Sunday July 22, 2007, at home. She was born on June 21, 1915, to the late Henry and Mary (Albers) Willems in De Pere. On Oct. 9, 1934, she married the late Henry Mooren. Josephine loved to cook, sew, play cards and was an avid baseball and football fan. She is survived by her children, Betty (Roger) Berndt, Delores (Eugene) Micke, Jean (Harold) VandenLangenberg, Jerome (Mary) Mooren, Ann (John) Beran, Henry Jr. (Sherry) Mooren, Harvey (Shirley) Mooren, Yvonne (Casey) Pszanka and Anita Mooren (and her special friend, Jim); sisters, Bertha Brotski and Margaret VanDenHeuval; a son-in-law, Jerry VandenLangenberg; a sister-in-law, Ethel Mooren; 32 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three children, Jerry and Richard Mooren and Joan VandenLangenberg; brothers and sisters, her twin, Joseph, Martin, Marie, Francis and Janet; a son-in-law, Tony Bader; a sister-in-law, Lillian Mooren; and a grandson, John VandenLangenberg. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family (corner of Lourdes Avenue and Suburban Drive, De Pere). Visitation will continue after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2007, at church until the time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. following visitation with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem., officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Please visit www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
