      Bressers, Cecelia M.
      Cecelia M. Bressers, 83, lifelong De Pere resident passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, Jan. 23, 2008, at her home. She was born in Ashwaubenon, on May 5, 1924, to the late Henry and Clara (Vander Heiden) Bressers. For many years she worked at H.L. Green Dime Store in Green Bay, Baeten Grocery Store in De Pere and retired from Montgomery Ward Store. Ceil loved to play bingo and cards, also enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She is a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Community of De Pere.
      Survivors include her sister, Mary Ann Bressers; Goddaughter, Rose Filizetti; nieces and nephews, Sue and Vern Pahl, Betty DeTennis, Julie and Bob Kidney, Norman and Mary Bressers, Jack and Mary Kay Bressers, Bob Bressers, Marty Bressers, Ellie and Darrell Pansier, many great-nieces and great-nephews; many great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.
      She is preceded in death by her three brothers, Norbert Bressers; Martin (first wife, Rose) and (second wife, Beatrice) Bressers; Sylvester (Berniece) Bressers; niece, Elsie Pfluger; nephew, Roger Bressers.
      Family and friends may call on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Community, Pope John the XXIII Cir., off Sportsman Dr., Town of Ledgeview, after 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. David Duffeck officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
