    • Mrs. Mathias Kees, 55, of the town of Woodville, passed away at her home Thursday afternoon following a lingering illness.

      Born Nov. 25, 1891, in the town of Woodville, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Mirsberger. On May 21, 1912, she was married to Mr. Kees at St. John the Baptist church, St. John. She resided in Woodville all her life.
      Besides being a member of St. John the Baptist Church she was also a member of the Christian MothersÂ’ society and the Catholic Knights.

      Survivors besides her husband include three sons, Francis of Sheboygan, Leonard of Fond du Lac and Paul who resides on the homestead; two daughters, Mrs. Max Gehman, Appleton, Mrs. Victor Nennig of Chilton, 9 grandchildren, one sister, Sister Adelbert, Colby, Kas., Three brothers, Leonard Mirsberger of Woodville, Alfred of Sheboygan, and Elmer of Milwaukee. Two sisters preceded her in death.

      Funeral services were held at the Elfredge-Techtman Funeral home at Hilbert and at St. John the Baptist church in St. John. Father Alvin A. Auer conducted the funeral services and burial took place in the Lavish cemetery.
