Notes - Gilbert A. Wettstein, 719 E. 8th St., Kaukauna, age 61, passed away at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday after a 3 month illness. He was born June 1, 1905 in Chilton, the son of Carl Albert and Lena Hoelzer Wettstein, and had been a resident of Kaukauna since 1934 and was employed at the CombinedPaper Mills, Inc. for the past 22 yrs.
Mr. Wettstein is survived by his wife Sophie; two daughters, Mrs. Jerome {Betty} Janssen, Madison; Mrs. David {Pat} Belling, Kaukauna; one son, Gilbert Jr., Kimberly; his stepmother, Mrs. Albert Wettstein, Stockbridge; Two brothers, Matthew, Sheboygan; Norman, Kaukauna; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Scott, Milwaukee; Mrs. Al Oakley, Sheboygan; 14 grandchildren.
One son Edward preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.
Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Peter A.Salm officiating. Interment will be inThe parish cemetery. Friends may call at The Greenwood Funerl Home, Kaukauna, After 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary will be Prayed at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral Home.
