- BRILLION Dewey W. Stanelle, 64, of Rt. 1, Brillion, was killed Wednesday when his car collided with a short Milwaukee road Freight train at a crossing at Forest Junction. He was enroute to Huebner Machine Co. at Forest Junction where he was a part time employe. He was alone.
Mr. Stanelle was born Aug. 12, 1900, at Forest Junction, son of the late Layman and Augusta Ziettlow Stanelle. He was married to Esther Zuelke On Oct. 28, 1925 at Wrightstown. The couple farmed in the town of Brillion.
Survivors are the wife, two daughters, Miss Elaine of Newburgh, N.Y., and Mrs. Eli (Dolores) Wagner of Manitowoc; a son, Maynard of Brillion; five sisters, Mrs. August Moede, Mrs. Lester Ott and Mrs. Mollie Zuelke of Green Bay and Mrs. Harvey Pagel of Greenleaf and Mrs. Earl Jansh of Forest Junction; three brothers, Sullivan of Forest Junction, Corbin of Milwaukee and Mitchell of Rt. 1, Brillion and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, Forest Junction, the Rev. Theodore Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
