- Margaret Marjo Little, passed away peacefully on May 31st, 2019 at Tender Hearts Assisted Living in Green Bay, she was 78 years old. The daughter of the late Antone and Isabel (Fink) Kromenaker, Marjo was born on November 20th, 1940 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She grew up in the Town of Lawrence and graduated from Nicolet High School in 1959. On May 1st, 1965, she married J. Greg Little at St. Boniface Catholic Church, De Pere.
Marjo loved to garden and entertain. The family home was always the hub for holiday celebrations and she was the inspiration for getting everyone together. Her flower pots that lined the driveway always presented a wonderful display of geraniums for everyone to see.
Early on in her career, she worked for Schreiber Foods. Then alongside her husband, Greg, they owned and operated the Enterprise Bar and Restaurant in De Pere. The Embassy Suites on Main in Green Bay, now the Hyatt is where she found her passion for hospitality. As Assistant Banquet Manager and then Banquet Captain, she had the opportunity to be part of countless weddings and corporate events until she retired in 2015. She loved to go to work every day knowing that she was helping others.
Marjo often commented how proud she was of her five children and six grandchildren. She was happy to see that all of her children complete higher education, obtained degrees and become successful. As for her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Greg, her five children; Tony (Terri) Little, Acworth GA, Angela (N. Claude) Colabella, New Canaan, CT, Cristina (Kevin) Heindel, Kaukauna, John D. (Devon) Little, Greenville and Natalie (Eric) Vandeveld, Green Bay, her six grandchildren; Ashely, Emily, Isabel, Lauren, Adeline & Paul and her four siblings; Clark (Jan) Kromenaker, Ken Kromenaker, Ellen Erdman and Joe (Dee) Kromenaker.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister, Joyous Hearden and brother, Tony Kromenaker Jr.
Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday June 6, 2019. Visitation will continue Friday at the funeral home from 9:30AM to 11:00AM. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
