Benotch, Alice May
Alice May Benotch, 83, formerly of Kaukauna, entered into Eternal Life on February 13, 2010. Alice was born on April 14, 1926, in Kaukauna to the late Joseph and Anna (Regenfuss) Benotch. She acted as a nanny to Bill and Kathy, children of Beverly Pennings in Green Bay. Alice May enjoyed fishing, country and western music and western movies, and preparing meals of her famous hamburgers for her many nieces and nephews. All of Alice's family considered her meals a special treat and were looked forward to.
Survivors include her sister, Mildred (Robert) Krueger, Winneconne; her nieces and nephews, Jerry (Rita) Cottrell, Mary Holtz, Donna (John) Ziebell, Scott (Jodi) Krueger, Nancy (Butch) Miller, JoAnn (Nub) Fox, Sandy Walker, Mary (David) Arnoldussen, Vicky Beyer, Pam (Mike) Wiegert, Kitty Peeters and Jacki Murrillo; and Alice's special friend and caregiver Beverly Pennings.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary (Ray) Jansen, Margaret M. (John) Bergman; and her brother, Joey Benotch.
The Funeral Liturgy will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, 18, 2010, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.
