    • Helen F. Green, age 94, of De Pere and Wrightstown, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at a local nursing home. The daughter of the late Cornelius and Agnes (Martin) Van Hoogen was born July 23, 1922 in De Pere. She married Raphael Albers and he preceded her in death on January 31, 1970. She then married Elmer Green on February 5, 1972 and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2006. She enjoyed golfing, sewing, crocheting, playing cards, and was a long-time member of St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, where she was a member of the quilting group and helped make cookbooks.

      Survivors include her step-children: Evelyn Van Dyke of Kaukauna, Joan (Stephen) Demerath of Green Bay, Dave (Lynn) Green of Kaukauna, and Mike Green of De Pere; nine step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; a sister: Betty (John) Moddie and numerous nieces, step-nieces, nephews and step-nephews.

      In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a step-son Dennis and step-son-in-law Dick Van Dyke.

      Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, on Tuesday, May 2, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Tuesday with the Rev. Brian Wideman officiating. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, De Pere. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
