- Jane M. Quinette, 78, De Pere, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, December 19, 2014, and is now in her Heavenly home for Christmas. She was born March 19, 1936 to the late Francis and Mary Ellen (McKeever) Pichette. Jane dedicated her life to her faith and family, as well as the children she taught for over 40 years. She retired in 2002 from All Saints School in Denmark.
She is survived by her children; Ann (Steve) Vogel, Jane Vogel, Mary (Shawn Smith) Zey, Ben (Julie) Quinette, and Bill Quinette; the 12 grandchildren that brought joy to her heart, Caitlin Vogel, Michael Vogel, Mitchell Vogel, Amanda Vogel, Krista Vogel, Tyler (Sophia) Zey, Brittany Zey, Brent Zey, Brianna Zey, Zoe Quinette, Jac Quinette, and Lizzy Quinette. Her Sister Vonnie (Larry) McQuade, as well as her brother in law Ron Berken, sister in laws Gladys Pichette, Bev Pichette, and numerous nieces and nephews survive Jane.
She was preceded in death by siblings; Mary Ann (Jack) Tong, Rose Ann (Wally) Donovan, Genevieve (Ed) Paul, Eugene Pichette, Jimmy Pichette, Norbert Pichette, Sally (Bill) Benz, Sylvia (Cliff) Renier, Nancy (Ben) Franckowiak, Joan Berken, and William (Rose) Pichette.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere after 4pm on Monday December 22, 2014. The evening will close with a parish prayer service at 7pm. Visitation will continue after 9:30am Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at St. Norbert College Parish at Old St. Joseph Church, 100 Grant Street in De Pere until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Fr. John Tourangeau, O.Praem officiating burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
