    • Mary F. Stadelman, 67, Green Bay, passed away at home Tuesday afternoon, June 23, 2015, with her loving husband at her side. She fought her battle with breast cancer long enough to celebrate her 40th wedding anniversary last Sunday.

The daughter of the late Cyril and Elizabeth Nuxoll was born on April 3, 1948, in Marathon WI. She graduated from Marathon High School in 1966 and then received her CLA (Certified Laboratory Assistant) accreditation at Wausau Memorial Hospital in 1967. In 1974 Mary moved to Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc where her work experience enabled her to pass the ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) exam to become a federally licensed laboratory technician. She met her future husband Richard while living and working in Manitowoc. Mary then continued her career at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay, WI in 1974. In addition to her lab tech duties at St. Mary's, she was instrumental in assisting in the implementation of one of their earlier computerized laboratory systems. She retired from St. Mary's in 2004.

Mary married Richard at St. Mathew's in Green Bay on June 21, 1975. They resided in Ashwaubenon until 1996 when they designed and built their dream house overlooking the bay of Green Bay.

Mary enjoyed gardening, landscaping, antiquing, cooking and traveling including her annual trips to Hilton Head Island to visit with her cousin, Mary Ann.

Mary is survived by her husband of 40 years and 2 days, Richard; her sister, Dianne (Alan) Olbrantz; her brother, Fred (Jen) Nuxoll; and niece, Deneen (Dan) Abezetian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her Aunt Geurt and Aunt Helen.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Friday, June 26th, from 4-8pm. Recitation of the Rosary at 7pm Friday at the funeral home with sharing of memories to follow. Visitation Saturday morning June 27th will be at Holy Cross Church, 3009 Bay Settlement Road, from 9am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass, 10:30am Saturday at the church with Rev. Willard J. Vande Loo officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Visit www.malcorefuneralhome.com to share a condolence with the family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mary's Bellin Oncology doctors, Dr Kelly Lynch and Dr Patty Marquardt, the nurses of Unity Hospice and the caregivers of Home Instead and ResCare for their loving care.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established to assist future lab techs.
