- Ardina C. Pritzl, 87, of Necedah, WI, passed away on, Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at her home in Necedah, WI. Ardina was born on September 7, 1919, to John and Theodora (Vander Burgt) Van Bakel in Little Chute, WI. She married Raymond Pritzl on May 21, 1940, at St. John's Catholic Church in Little Chute, WI. Ardina was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who devoted most of her time to her family and the people around her. Her other passion was her time in service to the Queen of Holy Rosary Mediatrix of Peace Shrine.
Ardina is survived by her six daughters: Mary (Ken) Lamers, N. Fort Myers, FL; Alice (Bruce) Peeters, Menasha, WI; Carol (Ted) Bodoh, Necedah, WI; Peggy (Gib) Saylor, Necedah, WI; Ann (Lenny) Dorobek, Necedah, WI; Barb (Mike) Perry, Washington, MO; two brothers: Adrian (Terry) Van Bakel, Louisville, KY; Joseph (Angie) Van Bakel, Amarillo, TX; a sister, Dolores Van Bakel, Little Chute, WI; a brother-in-law, Harold Welhouse, Kaukauna, WI; a sister-in-law, Beryl Van Bakel, Janesville, WI; 42 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends.
Ardina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Raymond; her sisters: Joanne Van Thiel and Roseanne Welhouse; a brother, Leonard Van Bakel; and a brother-in-law, Edward Van Thiel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Chapel in Necedah, WI, on Saturday, June 9, 2007, 11 a.m. Father David Sansone will officiate. Burial will follow in the Queen of Holy Rosary Mediatrix of Peace Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Friday, June 8, 2007, from 4-8 p.m. at the Torkelson Necedah Family Funeral Home, with a 7 p.m. Rosary. Visitation will continue on Saturday, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The family has requested that memorials be given in memory of Ardina.
