      James A. Clancy, 67, 1605 Day St., died Friday evening in an Appleton hospital.
      Born in Greenleaf May 25, 1924, he was a son of the late Emmet and Viola Bain Clancy. He serv
      ed in the U.S. Air Force from 1944 to 1946 and was employed by Schnieder Transport prior to r
      etiring in 1986. He was a member of Mid Valle golf course.
      Survivors are his wife, the former Betty J. Vissers to whom he was married Dec. 11, 1954; thr
      ee sons, Curt of Wrightstown, Jim. Jr. of Green Bay and Jason at home, three daughters, Mrs
      . Dave (Kim) Klika of Greenleaf and Connie and Kelly at home; three grandchildren; three brot
      hers, Bob Clancy of Clearwater, Fla. Jerry of Carrolton, Ga. and Dan of Maribel; three sister
      s, Mrs. Jerome (Enola) Smits of Green Bay, Mrs. John (Denise) Rieth of Kaukauna and Mrs. Ha
      l (Marion) Schreck of Bristol, Ind.; many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Mar
      k Buechler of Union N.J. He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy.
      Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Mary church. the Rev. Bob Kabat officiate
      d and burial was in St. Patrick cemetery, Askeaton. Ryan Funeral Home handled arrangements.
