    • Mrs. Walter H. Burns, 88, Madison, a former resident of Wisconsin Rapids, died at 8:50 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Sanatarium, Madison.

      Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. C. W. Gille officiating. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.

      Mrs. Burns, the former Delia Muehlman, was born near Green Bay Feb. 12, 1871, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Muehlman. Her marriage to Walter H. Burns took place in Green Bay June 28, 1893. he preceded her in death in 1932.

      Surviving are a son, Dr. Robert E. Burns, Madison; a daughter, Mrs. Arlington C. Krause, Memphis, Tenn.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, William Muehlman, Menominee, Mich., and a sister, Mrs. Emil Dessart, Chicago.

      Friends may call at the Baker Mortuary after 4 p.m. Tuesday. A general rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
