    Gerald “Jerry” J. Coenen, 84, Ashwaubenon, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at a local nursing home. He was born in the Town of Rockland on September 12, 1937, to the late Edward and Regina (Cornelissen) Coenen.
    Jerry farmed on his parent’s farm in Hobart. He continued farming after the land was sold in 1985 for airport expansion. He bought a house in Ashwaubenon and continued farming until he had a farm auction on his personal property in 1992. Jerry continued working for various farm families until he sold the house and moved to Hillcrest Apartments in De Pere.

    He is survived by his brother Ervin (Janice) Coenen, two nephews: Larry (Deb) Coenen, Freedom, Chad Coenen, Kimberly, and his nephew’s wife Carrie Coenen, Waunakee.
    Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Regina, and his nephew Keith Coenen.

    Friends many call at First Congregational Church 1018 Cedar Street De Pere, Wednesday, June 29th. A memorial service for Jerry will take place at 6:00PM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating.
