 | Daniel George Vanden Heuvel | Age 84 | Kimberly, WI Daniel (Dan) George Vanden Heuvel passed away at home on Christmas Day at the age of 84. Dan spent most of his life in Kimberly and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1959. Shortly after high school he married Jeanne Welhouse. Together they raised two wonderful children, Sara and Patrick. In 2000, Dan married Helen Klapper. They lived many years on Lake Winnebago until his health struggles became too much. In his younger years Dan enjoyed participating in sports, fishing and spending time with his children. In his later years, he loved to travel to the Caribbean, go to the casino, and was an incredible grandfather to his six grandchildren. He loved to play cards (and was a self-proclaimed Sheepshead and Cribbage whiz) with family and friends and attend his grandchildren’s sporting events as a proud fan and supporter.
Dan is survived by his wife Helen, daughter Sara (Marty) Jaeger and son Patrick (Jodi) Vanden Heuvel; grandchildren Natalie (Matt) Breezee, Alex (Colleen) Jaeger, Lucas (Sarah) Jaeger, Spencer Vanden Heuvel, Ciana Vanden Heuvel, Hallie Vanden Heuvel; great granddaughter Mia Breezee, sister Mary Ann (Ron) Popp, brother Jim Vanden Heuvel, sister Debbie Hupfauf, and many other relatives.
