- Dwight "Whitey" M. Lindow, age 65, of Menasha, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. On December 23, 1946, Dwight Melvin was born the son of the late Melvin and Fern (Edelman) Lindow in New London. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, served a short time and was honorably discharged. Whitey enjoyed gambling and traveling. He especially was proud of being a part of the 100,000 mile Motorcycle Club.
Whitey will be missed by his loving daughter, Sheila (Tim) Frank; his grandchildren: Samantha, Jayson, Nicole, and Mackenzie; a great-granddaughter, Destony; his soul mate, Beverly Schwahert; a brother-in-law, Elroy Wyngaard; and many nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda; and a sister, Sharon Wyngaard.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 209 S. Allen Street, Appleton, with Rev. Kurt Kovanen officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the hour of the service at the church. Interment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
