- Marvin Krause, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at Lake Mary, Middle Inlet , Wisconsin.Marvin was born on January 23, 1943 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from West DePere High School, class of 1961. He was one the first graduates of UWGB with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. Marvin served in the US Airforce as a linguistics specialist from 1962 to 1966. His entire professional career was spent at the AT&T telephone company where he worked for 37 years. He was proud to have engineered some of the first fiber optics installations in Wisconsin.Marvin was a great family man and a loving father. He married Karen VandeHei on May 28th, 1966. He and Karen have four children. The family spent nearly all of their weekends at Lake Mary, Wisconsin until moving there full time in 2010.Marvin was a social, active man who enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, waterskiing and spending time with friends and family. He will always be remembered as a loving, caring and generous person.Marvin is survived by his wife, Karen and their children Michael (Teresa) Krause; Patrick (Lygia) Krause, Lake Tahoe; Colleen (Robert Vergo) Krause, San Diego; Scott Krause. He is also survived by his grandchildren Andrew, Alexander, Timothy, Henry, Ella, Lucas, Sophia, Sawyer and Hunter, and two great grandchildren Vincent and Victoria, stepsister Renee (John) Pentzenstadler, Green Bay. He is preceded in death by his parents Verna and Victor Krause of DePere, Wisconsin and his stepmother Frances Krause. Friends and relatives are invited to St. Mary's Church in Crivitz September 14th from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral at 11 a.m. and Military Rites. Rev. Fredrick Sserugga officiating.
