    • Sandra Lee Best-Giles, of White Lake, died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Pine Manor Health Care Center in Clintonville. She was 75 years old. She was born on March 3, 1940 in Green Bay daughter of Vincent and Amelia (Hock) VanEnvort. She married Archie Best and he preceded her in death. She later married John Giles on June 11, 2002 in Crivitz. He survives.

      She attended DePere High School.

Mrs. Best-Giles drove school buses and medical vans for Lamers Bus Lines in the Green Bay area. She later moved to the township of Crooked Lake where she worked for Nicolet Plastics in Lakewood as a general set-up person. After her marriage to John Giles, the couple settled in the White Lake area.

She traveled extensively from 2002 until 2008 exploring areas west of the Mississippi River. She enjoyed bowling with women's bowling leagues in Green Bay. She was an avid hunter and angler. Her passion was driving vehicles: all sizes from snowmobiles to tour buses.

In addition to her husband, survivors include three sisters, Gail Gerrits and Elaine Green, both of Green Bay, Cher (Jay) Hewitt of Seymore; two brothers, Eugene (special friend Barbara) VanEnvort, Green Bay, David (Cathy) VanEnvort, DePere; brother-in-law, Bill Artz, DePere; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her first husband, Archie Best, she was preceded in death by her sister in infancy, Joyce VanEnvort, sister, Bernice Artz, brothers-in-law, Jim Gerrits and Lennie Green.

No services are scheduled. A private burial will take place at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner at a later date.

A special thanks to Sandra's sister, Cher and niece, Jenny Wilcox for their assistance during this difficult time.
