    • Duke of Brabant and Lothier He was Duke of Brabant and Lothier after the death of his father Henry I in 1235. He supported his cousin, William II, Count of Holland, when the latter was chosen as German King. His first marriage was to Marie von Hohenstaufen (1201–1235, Leuven), daughter of Philip of Swabia, by whom he had six children.
