    • Kenneth E. Kopiske Sr., age 78, passed away January 17, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Hospital with loving family members at his side. Ken was born May 1, 1936, in Fremont, WI to Edward and Edna Kopiske. He married Isabelle Evers on May 18, 1957. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Appleton. He retired from Gilbert Paper after 35 years. Ken was HUGE Packer, Timber Rattler, and Matt Kennseth fan. He loved his gardening, his Parrot - "Kiwi", hunting, fishing, and meeting for breakfasts with his Gilbert retirees.

      He is survived by his wife Isabelle; son, Tim (Shirley) Kopiske, daughter, Maureen (Don) Reinert, sons: Tom (Linda) Kopiske, Mike (Tina) Kopiske, and Ken Jr. (Carrie) Kopiske; 9 grandchildren: Jenny (Josh), Tim Jr. (Crystal), Ross, Rachel, Valerie, Adam, Joey, Karissa, and Aubrey; 3 great grandchildren: Brianna, Kayden, and Landun; two step grandchildren: Jim (Jill) Reinert and Kelly Billman; 2 step great grandchildren: Jordan Reinert and Brittney Billman; a sister, Lynette (Duane) Hannemann; niece's: Debra Butt, Jean (Steve) Wiechmann, Becky (Tim) Emond, and their children.

      Ken was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Edna, aunts and uncles.

      A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 22, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S. State St., Appleton. Friends may visit from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, January 21, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, and directly at the church on Thursday from 9 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
