- Hoolihan , Robert J.
Robert J. Hoolihan , of Neenah, formerly of Appleton, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 unexpectedly at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Bob was born August 25, 1929 in Menasha, the son of the late Maurice and Lucille (Goeser) Hoolihan . He had been employed at Service Bakery, Elm Tree and Rich's Bakery retiring in 1992 after 42 years in the Bakery Business.
Bob was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton. He enjoyed fishing, joke telling, movies, books and loved spending time with his family at their cottage on Washington Lake.
Bob is survived by his brothers: Eugene of Appleton and Roger (Gloria) of Neenah his sister, Pat (Joe) Schultz of Neenah many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, LaVergne Hoolihan a nephew and his wife, Larry and Ellie Hoolihan .
Funeral services for Bob will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 439 Washington Ave., Neenah with Msgr. Roy Klister officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass. A memorial is being established for the Diabetes and Parkinsons Foundation.
