      Patrick G. Ragen Succumbs at 26; St. Al's Rites Set

      Patrick G. Ragen, age 26, of 1400 Sullivan Avenue, Kaukauna, passed away Saturday, December 5, 1987, at his home following a year-and-a-half battle with cancer.

      Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Rev. John Hephner officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the church after 5:30 this evening until the hour of the service.

      Born June 8, 1961, in Kaukauna, he was the son of Ronald J. and Marian (Van Hoof) Ragen. A graduate of Kaukauna High School and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1984, Mr. Ragen was a geologist, having been employed at Badger Laboratory and Engineers of Appleton since his graduation from the university. He was a member of St. Aloysius Church.

      Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Marian Ragen; and his paternal grandmother, Irene Ragen of Kaukauna.

      He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.

      The Greenwood-Fargo Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

      A memorial fund has been established in his name.
