“When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so when you die, you rejoice and the world cries.” Andy lived that kind of life. Wherever he went, whoever he met, he brought happiness, laughter, hugs and love to everyone he came in contact with. Life is too short to live otherwise. Andrew Kevin “Amos” Beach, age 64, passed away at home on September 8, 2022, with Lori (Delores), his devoted wife of 31 years, by his side. He was born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin to Joan and the late Thomas Beach. Andy worked at Murphy Concrete and Construction for 25 years as a concrete truck driver and mechanic until Parkinson’s disease forced him into early retirement. Even with Parkinson’s, Amos continue to play billiards on several pool leagues until Covid paused the league. He was very proud of his specially made spring loaded pool cue. Cruising the Caribbean was our favorite vacation, and we were also fortunate enough to travel to New Zealand, Tahiti, China, Europe, Alaska, and many of the highlights of the United States. To his many nieces and nephews he was known as “Favorite Uncle Andy”. Even though they would try to dodge his SNOOPY KISSES, they would always grin when they knew it was about to happen! Know that he loved you just as much as he was loved by you all! He was loved by his many aunts and uncles, and may have been referred to by a few as their “Favorite Nephew Andy”! In addition to his wife, Lori, he is survived by his mother, Joan Beach; his siblings: Susan (Ron) Kirchner, Bruce (Catherine Driessen) Beach, Mark (Judy) Beach, Joseph (Kathy) Beach, Elizabeth (Scott) Schutte, and Patrick (Tracy) Beach. He is also survived by Lori’s family: Tom Woldt, Donna (Tom Baeten) Wiskow, Doris (Dan) Verboomen, Darlene Woldt, Denise (Don Bies) Woldt. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Beach, his infant siblings, Brian and Louise, and nephew, Chad Beach. He was also preceded in death by his sister in law Kristen (Mrs. Bruce) Beach, and brothers Robert, Daniel and Samuel. Also preceded in death by Lori’s parents, Herman and Imelda Woldt. He will be remembered for his easy demeanor, great sense of humor, his love of Diet Mt Dew, ice cream and cookies! We would like to give a special thank you to Dan and Doris Verboomen for all of their help and advice throughout the years, but especially in the last few months. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home FREEDOM LOCATION, N3972 Columbia Ave., Freedom.
