Notes - Peter Diny, 78, father of Peter M. Diny, Appleton, died Sunday morning at Stevens Point after an illness of about a week with pneumonia. Mr. Diny had been living with another son, REv. Joseph N. Diny, pastor of St. Mary church, Custer.
Mr. Diny was born in Germany and came to Wisconsin in 1865, where he settled on a farm in Brown Co. In 1908 he moved to Wrightstown.
Survivors are the widow, four sons, three daughters; B. H. Diny, Chicago, Peter M. Diny, Appleton, Rev. Joseph N. Diny, Custer, F.M. Diny, Greenleaf, Sister M. Carlotta, Jefferson, Sister M. Bethalena, and Sister M. Romana, St. Francis.
Requiem mass will be sung at St. Mary church, Custer, at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. The body will be taken to Greenleaf where funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, with burial in the Catholic Cemetery there.
