    • Henry G. VanMunn, 91, of De Pere, died Friday August 8, 2014 at a local nursing home. The son of the late Albert and Anna (Santkuyl) VanMunn was born October 10, 1922 in Kimberly. He was a graduate of East High School. He married the former Beverly Smith in May of 1944 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church.

      Henry worked at Ft. Howard Paper Company for many years prior to retirement. Henry was a member of Nativity Parish for many years. Henry enjoyed life; loving boating, fishing and spending time in the outdoors. In his retirement years, he and his wife enjoyed traveling.

      Survivors include his wife Beverly, one daughter, Jan Boice and her daughter Kelly (Eric) Jones and great-grandson, Calvin; one son, Patrick (Doris) VanMunn and daughter Amy (Casey) Burkhardt and great-grandson Jason; and one niece Connie (Jim) Kelly. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Zellner , Marie Darrow, and a brother, Julius.

      Family and friends may call at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 So. Oneida Street, Green Bay from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday August 14, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday at the church with Father John H. Harper, officiating. Private entombment in Allouez Mausoleum.
