VandenLangenberg, Gerald M.
Gerald M. VandenLangenberg, 76, longtime resident of the Village of Howard, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; five children and their spouses, Pamela and David Zak, Green Bay; Wendy and Craig Rueden, Appleton; Keith and Mary VandenLangenberg, Green Bay; Kevin and Ann VandenLangenberg, Lake Geneva; Tammy and Jeffery Schoen, Grafton; his grandchildren, Davis, Melissa and Billie Jo Zak, Darchelle (Alex) Lo, Charlsie Rueden, Katie (Clint) VerVoren, Brenda VandenLangenberg, Eric, Jeff, Bethany and Meghan VandenLangenberg, Ari, Katrina and Grant Schoen; a great-grandson, Dane VerVoren; a sister and brother-in-law, Alyce and Leonard Zellner, Oconto Falls; a brother and sister-in-law, Merlin and Janet VandenLangenberg, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dee and Gary Cramer, Anderson Lake; Barb and Mike Demeny, Green Bay; Dick and Gloria Neldner, Crooked Lake.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may also call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., Howard, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. William Swichtenberg officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in the church cemetery.

Gerald M. VandenLangenberg (May 2, 1931 - July 8, 2007) Gerald M. VandenLangenberg, 76, longtime resident of the Village of Howard, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at his home. He was born May 2, 1931, in Green Bay, to the late Ben and Regina (Rank) VandenLangenberg. Gerry served as a medic in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. On Oct. 16, 1954, he married Mary Neldner Weasy. He had been employed as a warehouse worker for Schneider Transportation and Leicht Transfer and Storage for many years, retiring in May of 1988. Gerry was a member of the Duck Creek VFW Post #7534, the Teamsters Local #75, United Commercial Travelers and the Foresters-St. Leos Court (with whom he enjoyed playing cards). He was an active member of St. John the Baptist Parish, serving as an usher for 50 years, working on the funeral lunch committee and helping with the upkeep of the church cemetery. He loved the outdoors and working in his garden.
