    • Aloysius J. Holsen, 85, of 630 S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at home.
      Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Schiavone will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

      Mr. Holsen was born May 2, 1886, at Two Rivers, son of the late Charles and Mary Koch Holsen. He married Katherine Milton Oct. 13, 1914, at Hollandtown, Wis. Following marriage, the couple moved to Manitowoc.
      He had been employed as a custodian at Garfield School for 30 years, retiring in 1955. Mr. Holsen also taught caning at the Vocational School.
      He was a member of St. Paul Holy Name Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

      Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Elizabeth) Johnsrud, and Mrs. Victor (Mary) Holzinger, of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. James Rea of Manitowoc and Mrs. Ray Kornely of Milwaukee; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, a daughter and five brothers preceded him in death.

      Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
