    • Marjorie A. Kitzinger, age 88, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, in Green Bay.

      Marjorie was born July 12, 1918, in Sugar Bush, Wis., the daughter of the late Clarence and Maude (Greshamer) Stoehr. On Sept. 11, 1948, she was united in marriage to Donald J. Kitzinger in Black Creek. Donald preceded her in death on June 21, 2005. She worked as a secretary in the Shawano-Gresham School District for several years. In 1971 Marjorie and Donald moved to Florida. In December of 2004 they returned to the Shawano area. Together they enjoyed spending time at their time-share in Door County and Mishicot and taking bus tours all over the country. She also enjoyed dancing.

      Marjorie is survived by: her son, Calvin Kitzinger of Green Bay; two grandchildren, Jana (significant other, Chris) Kitzinger of Cecil, Andrea (significant other, Shawn) Temple of Shawano; one great-granddaughter, Alexa; three sisters, Eileen Zuleger of Black Creek, Valda VanErem of Seymour, Clarence Stoehr of Minneapolis, Minn.

      Marjorie was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald; one son, Kenneth; her parents; one brother; one sister and brother-in-law.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Len Evers officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 5 until 8 p.m. and on Thursday after 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
