Horn, Mildred Margaret (Kauth) Mildred M. Horn, age 74, died early Tuesday morning at her home, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born August 22, 1932, to Bernard and Harriet (Soeters) Kauth in the Town of Grand Chute. Millie graduated from Seymour High School in 1949. She married Glenn J. Horn on November 6, 1954, and enjoyed 45 years of marriage until his death in 1999.
Mildred was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul, a member of auxiliary at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a Eucharist Ministry, and an active participant of the Divine Mercy Chapel at St. Pius X. Millie enjoyed spending time with her special friend Gordy Gerrits, playing cards, fish lunches, crocheting and the occasional trip to the casino.
Mildred is survived by four daughters: Debra (Joseph) Ebben, Sandra (William) Huelsbeck, Pamela (Gregory) Warner, all of Appleton, and Janice (David) Ebben of Greenville. She is survived by eight grandchildren: Shaun, Keith, and Brian Ebben; Kristine (Jonathan) Weber; Kelly and Kyle Warner; and Kimberly and Michael Ebben; great-granddaughters, Grace and Ellyna Ebben; sisters: Frances Boyle, Florence (Ted) Harris and Aurelia (Russell) Bowers; sisters-in-law: Marie (Robert) Meyherhofer, Rita Van Roy, Judy Mills, Linda (Martin) Diedrich; and brother-in-law, Richard (Carol) Horn.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Glenn, her parents, and infant son Glenn Jr.; a grandson Bradley Huelsbeck; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Ann (Wayne) Anderson and Martha (Adolph) Sonneleiter; and two additional brothers-in-law: Anton Boyle and Jack Van Roy. Her mother and father-in-law, Jacob and Christine Horn also precede her in death.
Funeral Services for Mildred will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., with Rev. Quinn Mann officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. A memorial fund is being established.
