    • Rosemary (Besaw) DeKeyser, 86, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home, March 23, 2019. Born on June 22, 1932, she is the daughter of the late John and Nellie (Vanden Heuvel) Besaw. She was a graduate of St. Willebrord's Grade School class of 1946 and Luxemburg High School class of 1950. Rosie married Jerry DeKeyser January 24, 1953, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on February 26, 2014. She worked as a bookkeeper for Hansens, Davis Construction, and Meachem RE. Rosie and her husband owned and operated the Royal Motel. Rosie was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. She enjoyed McDonalds, the smell of coffee, her daily donut, attending Mass, times spent by the water at her home on the Bay, and vacations in Florida. Most importantly her passion was family and raising her six children.

      She is survived by her three sons, Gary (Wendy) DeKeyser of Green Bay, Bill (Debbie) DeKeyser of Neenah, and Paul (Tony Cornelius) DeKeyser of Chicago, IL; two daughters, Jean (Steve) Stein of Green Bay and Sally (Harley) Maes of New Franken; grandchildren, Joshua (Denise), Nick, Heather (Jeremy) Smith, and Carissa (Clyde) George, Heidi (Martin) Santos, Jamie, and Travis DeKeyser, Jenny Stein and Joseph Stein, and John Clark; special great grandson, Matthew Stein; 8 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Maynard Van Ess; further survived by many nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry; son, Richard "Coach" DeKeyser; grandchild, Lacey DeKeyser; niece, Mary (Besaw) Johnson, and brothers and sisters.

      Visitation at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Ln., Saturday, March 30, from 8 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg and Rev. John Van Deuren officiating.
