      PIONEERS, MARRIED 50 YEARS

      Pioneer residents of Outagamie County, Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Nussbaum, 1223 College avenue, will celebrate their golden anniversary Sunday. There will be an anniversary mass at 6:45 Sunday morning at St. Joseph's church, dinner will be served at noon at the Conway hotel for the family and the four persons who were attendants at the wedding 50 years ago. A reception and open house will be held from 2 to 5 and after 7 o'clock in the evening for relatives and friends at the hotel.

      Mr. and Mrs. Nussbaum were married at Mackville and lived for 6 years at Ellington before moving to the town of Center. Three years ago they moved to Appleton. Attendants at the wedding 50 years ago were Sebastian Griesbach, Mrs. Michael Griesbach, Joseph Bauer, Appleton: and Sister Theophila, Jefferson, Wis. Mr. Nussbaum, who was born in the town of Ellington, is 80 years old, and his wife, who was born in Grand Chute, is 70.

      The couple has five sons, four daughters and fourteen grandchildren, all of whom are living. The sons Frank, Edward, Lawrence, and Leonard, Appleton: and Raymond, Kaukauna: and the daughters are Mrs. Frances Hoffman, Hortonville: Miss Mary Nussbaum, Appleton: Mrs. Joseph Emmons, Tennessee: and Mrs. Wilford Brecken, Bonduel.
