- Services for Annie Hanson, 90, were Saturday, July 16, at 11 a. at Balsam Lutheran Church, rural Amery, with the Rev. Nanette Hagen-Hinck officiating.
Soloist was Arlen Peterson and organist, Julaine Berglund.
Casketbearers were Jeff Posey, Greg Posey, Josh Posey, David Posey, Travis Posey and Jerry Franzen.
Honorary bearers were Bill Johnson, Joe Franzen and Derek Posey.
Internment was at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Turtle Lake, with Williamson Funeral Home, Amery, assisting with arrangements.
Annie Hanson was born the daughter of Anton and Rose (Bauer) Hendricks on July 26, 1914, in Turtle Lake. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Ann's Catholic church, Turtle Lake.
On March 18, 1968, she was married to Albert Hanson. She was a homemaker and quality quilter. She made over 1,200 quilts in her lifetime.
She has been a resident of Willow Ridge and has had many of her needs taken care of by her niece, Beverly Posey. She died at Willow Ridge on Tuesday, July 12.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; brothers, Bill, Bob and Frank; sisters, Sophie and Cecelia.
Survivors include her brothers, Albert (Kitty) Hendricks, Hank Hendricks, Joe (Patsy) Hendricks and Anton Hendricks; sisters, Theresa Sparish, Mary Johnston and Kathy Schneider.
