- My grandpa went to St. Mary's School in Hilbert. He just had to walk across the street and he was at school. My grandpa was naughty and had to clean the church, school, and had to stay in the furnace room for a while. He went to Hilbert High School. He had five brothers and one sister. One of his brothers died from drowning in a lake. My grandpa was a twin. In his house it was crowded. The saying in the house was first come first serve. His family took a bath once a week. They always went youngest to oldest for taking a bath.

Grandpa Schaffer
He was born January 7, 1937 at his home in Hilbert. She lived with his
mother and father, twin brother Clifford, his younger sister Judith, his youngest
brother Andrew, his younger brother John, and his older brother Ermin. He married
Diana Mae Huebner on October 28, 1958 at the Outagamie Court House.
The reason why was they had a mixed marriage. He was in the Korean War
just before it ended. When he was young his older brother, Ermin died when he
was 20 years old under the Collage Ave. Bridge with his boss they both drowned
because they hit a current while fishing. And when he was in school and
misbehaving the sister sent him home to be punished and instead he went and sat in
the furnish room so his mother could not yell at him.
