      Langenberg, Elsie E. Nee Simpson
      Elsie E. Langenberg, Nee Simpson, Appleton, age 95, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, May 3, 2008, at Grand Horizons Retirement Community. She was born on August 22, 1912, in Freedom, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Robert and Anna (Graf) Simpson. Elsie was a 1930 graduate of Freedom High School, after which she attended Badger Commercial College. Elsie went on to be a legal secretary, and was a Charter member of the National Professional Secretary's Association. On July 4, 1933, she married Bernard "Benny" Langenberg and the couple was blessed with two children. Benny preceded her in death in 1995. Elsie enjoyed watching old musical movies, visiting her family in Florida, and time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
      She will be sadly missed by her daughter Carole Tuckis, Palm Harbor, FL; her son James L. Langenberg, Milwaukee; grandchildren: Laura (Rob) Rutherford, Orlando, FL; Kimberly Sue (Jason) Brown, Orlando, FL; Jeffrey R. (Jennifer) Tuckis, Wake Forest, NC; great-grandchildren: Emily Rutherford, William and Benjamin Tuckis, Dylan and Olivia Brown; brother-in-law Bob Brower, Appleton; sister-in-law Anna Marie Simpson, Freedom, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
      In addition to her loving husband Benny, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Robert Tuckis, her granddaughter Lisa Ann Langenberg, Carl, Norman, Earl and George Simpson; sisters: Viola Behle, Lucille Brower and Pearl Paeth.
      Funeral services for Elsie will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME (537 North Superior Street) with Rev. James R. Wiebel officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park directly after the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Emily Rutherford Special Needs Trust.
